These guys know there stuff. we needed clams for my wife's clam linguine and this was the only place to have fresh clams (late August. not the best time for clams in the NW). great service and fresh seafood. good selection too.

Best place to get FRESH seafood... Ask and they'll de-bone the fish also if you call ahead for live crab they'll hold how many you need or if you prefer they'll get them ready to cook for you... We try to visit every couple of weeks

Pretty new to Salem, and was looking for a seafood market. All my neighbors said Fitts. I was blown away by the selection. All fresh, beautiful, meaty, and so succulent! Was also very happy to find out they carry frog legs, elk brauts, and other hard to find cuisines.Will definitely be going back!!

Always great choices. Always fresh. I live on the coast but prefer Fitt's for their great selection and prices. When I'm in Salem, I stop there for fish and duck confit to take home. Or tiny shrimp to eat on the way.

This store is one of the finest Seafood shops in Oregon. Salem is lucky that the current owners have continued the amazing legacy that has always been Fitt's. Not only is the seafood the finest quality, but they also go a step beyond by providing great specialty dishes. With a vegetarian in the family, Christmas can be challenging, but when I found the Salmon stuffed with shrimp and brie I knew it would be a hit. Needless to say, it is now a Christmas tradition in our household. Oh, and the Salmon dip is to DIE for! Kudo's to the owners for inspiring ideas and for hiring the most helpful, courteous and kind staff around!!

Best and freshest seafood in town. We won't buy our crab or fish any place else, especially not from the grocery stores!! A definite plus are the smiling faces that greet us when we come in!

My first impression was how clean the place smelled for being seafood establishment. They carry a large variety of fresh and frozen seafood; as well as a nice selection of seafood salads and dips. I was impressed with the many different spices and rubs available for preparing seafood too. We enjoyed the sole, scallops, crabmeat, seaweed salad, and clam dip.

Fantastic product and the seafood has always been fresh. Customer service is top notch. Also make sure you check out the various salts. My wife found a truffle salt which is over the top tasty.

I usually come for lunch. They have a bowl of the most amazing clam chowder for 4 dollars. And this stuff is the real deal, none of this searching around in the bowl for one little minced clam piece. Their chowder is LOADED with clam! I've also purchased their seafood. They have great service, and you might have to wait a little while to get clams but it's because the quality is so good. Their tilapia fillets are amazingly fresh and delicious.

Im new here in salem and one of.my friend told.me of this place and im so happy and.impresed how fresh there seafood are been buying mussle3bqck in Newyork but not as fresh as this one and definitely will come back.more often clams and mussels are heaven

For the last many years my now ex and I have bought a gallon of oysters for Christmas here and have never been disappointed. Wonderful size, quality and service.

I love to review places I love. Although I don't visit as often as I would like I to, this shop has top quality fish and I am never disappointed when I go. There seems to be a nice variety of seafood . Fitts' helpful staff is also friendly. I feel very welcomed here when I shop here and it brings me back to the time when there were mom and pop markets on the neighborhood street corners with familiar, friendly grocers who remembered our names or at least our faces; only this market only sells mostly just really nice fish. If you like what the local Pacific has to offer, give Fitts Seafood a try.

This place had the freshest Seafood selection and other Gourmet items I've seen in a long time. Moulard and Magret duck, Foie Gras, Guinea Fowl, Goma Wakame, things you wouldn't expect to find in the mall store in Salem Oregon.. normally big city items. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Will be my go-to seafood market.

We LOVE LOVE LOVE Fitts! The seafood is amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful. They always seem to have the right ingredients on their shelves to make our recipes extra special each time.

I really liked this place. Quite a few options. Prices were market. Not less expensive, but definitely not over priced. Especially for the quality. There's no place that can beat fitts for fresh seafood. They also have other fresh and frozen meats, along with every spice, rub, and sauce you would want.

Best seafood in salem. Clear labeling about origin and knowledgeable staff. Clean cutting and free ice bags when you are going to out for a while. They get a wider selection when fish are in season and are quite literally the only place in town sometimes for quality. Black cod/butterfish just isn't available anywhere else.

They're incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. The seafood is the best you can get. And the staff has always been very friendly even during their busiest time of year. Thanks for always providing a key piece of our Christmas meal!
